Australia’s best annual air show returns to the Illawarra in 2021 and Trusted Travel are offering you not only the chance to join the aviation extravaganza but we’ve got a great package that’ll have you enjoying many of the region’s sights and activities.

See jaw-dropping solo and formation acrobatic displays and relive the past with the awesome display of classic warbirds and amazing vintage aircraft of yesteryear. Some of the country’s top formation flying teams will delight and provide you with an unforgettable experience as they perform breath-taking manoeuvres above the beautiful Illawarra.

Staying in the stunning south of the region you’ll enjoy lunch in the harbour side town of Kiama where you can visit the famous blow hole and the less famous but loved by locals, little blowhole.

You will also be visiting Port Kembla's highest point, Hill 60, overlooking the Five Islands and Red Point. Hill 60, originally the site of an Aboriginal settlement, was used by the army during World War II to make a coastal gun emplacement known as Illowra Battery.

You will also be visiting Fleet Air Arm Museum in Nowra. There is a vast array of machines, planes and helicopters to look through and enjoy.

Day 1

Our staff will be ready to welcome you at the departure point, farewell your families and friends and start the adventure. Today we will be heading south to Nowra to visit the Fleet Air Arm museum – COVID permitting. The museum was opened in 1990, although efforts to preserve artefacts related to Australia's naval aviation history began in 1974. The museum houses aircraft used throughout the history of the Fleet Air Arm, the naval aviation branch of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), along with other aircraft of relevance to Australia's aviation history, and memorabilia relating to Australian aircraft carriers. A great start to our aerial adventure weekend.
We will make our way to our accommodation overlooking one of the South Coast’s beautiful beaches and into the local restaurant scene for dinner together. Then back home for an early night – we have a few big days ahead of us.

Day 2

After a delicious breakfast, we will get ready for our day out at the air show. Gates will open at 9am. The air shows start from 11am and will be entertaining and performing aerial stunts till 4pm. Once back at our accommodation, we will have some chill time before heading out for dinner.

Day 3

After a delicious breakfast together, we will get ready for another day out at the air show. We will have time to take it all in and catch up on anything we missed yesterday. Once we have had our fill, we will head back to our accommodation, stopping off at one of the many beaches on the beautiful South Coast to dip our feet in the water, we may even have fish and chips on the beach for dinner!

Day 4

We will have a final breakfast together before we pack up and head out from the lovely accommodation. We are going north today to take in some history of the area. Hill 60 in Port Kembla is the site of some great WWII history, as well as being a traditional Aboriginal site, we can enjoy the varied history of this wonderful scenic spot.
After lunch, we will head back to our families and friends, with great memories, full bellies and ready to do it all again next year!

All participants can treasure their holiday memories forever with the purchase of a hard cover keepsake photo book. Order here!
