Day 1

Our staff will be ready to welcome you at the departure point, farewell your families and friends and start the adventure. We will pack the bus and head off to have lunch together and begin our ‘wicked’ weekend. We will check into our accommodation and get ready for our afternoon of creativity and laughs.

Pinot and Picasso host painting workshops with step by step instructions to create your own masterpiece and we have booked a session so we can relax and have some laughs and nibbles while we paint the day away!

We will have dinner together and some free time before bed.

Day 2

This morning we will have breakfast together and take a walk around Parramatta Mall and take in the trendy cafes and shops. We will have an early lunch at one of the great eateries of Eat Street – a collection of restaurants and cafes with cuisines from all over the world.

After lunch we will head back to the hotel to get ready for the show. We are heading to the Riverside Theatre to see the wonderful production of Wicked. Wicked tells the story of how Glinda the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch of the West came to be. It is one of the longest running musicals ever to hit Broadway and this production from Packemin at the Riverside Theatre is sure to be a hit with us!

After the show we will make our way back to the hotel and have a light dinner on the way.

Day 3

This morning we can take our time getting up and having breakfast together. We have a beautiful Sunday of sightseeing ahead. After a leisurely breakfast together, we will head out to see Parramatta Park. Parramatta has a rich history and was founded the same year as Sydney in 1788. Parramatta retains much of this heritage and we will make our way round the city to take in some of the oldest buildings in Australia and enjoying the picturesque Parramatta river. We may even have time to jump on the River cat and take a ferry ride to see the sites from the river and head up the river towards Circular Quay.

We will have our last dinner together before a relaxed night in our hotel.

Day 4

We will get up and get our bags packed and head out to have breakfast together on our last morning together. We will pack up the bus and head out of town to Newington Armoury.

Another one of Parramatta’s historic heritage listed sites, this Royal Australian Navy depot now houses a fantastic park, cafes and plenty of things to do. Once we have explored all there is to do at the Armoury, we will be ready for lunch at the café and a final catch- up before we start the journey back to our family and friends.
