Continuing Custodians of the Land:

Darramuragal People of the Kuring-Gai Nation

Hear ye, hear ye! Calling all ladies and lords, knights and dames. Each September, St Ives Showground is transformed into a world of grand tournaments, lavish food, and brave knights. We call on loyal subjects to visit and explore this captivating weekend long experience. Immerse yourself in the Medieval Village, savour traditional fare at the Tilt & Counter Tavern, stroll through the market stalls of authentic artisans, and witness knights vying for glory in grand tournaments. There will be demonstrations throughout both days of the Faire. Including jousting, music and entertainment, archery, catapult displays, Viking battles, trained hawking shows as well as many different birds of prey, from owls to eagles, and a recreation of a 15th Century mounted hunt, where birds will be flown from horseback to catch a very 21st Century prey – a robot rabbit! How awesome! Whatever your fancy, you’ll find sights, sounds and experiences to delight, enchant and amaze at the St Ives Medieval Faire.

Day 1

Our staff will be ready to welcome you at the departure point, farewell your families and friends and start the medieval adventure. Aboard our chariot as we make our way to Kurung-Gai! There will be plenty of chances to stop along the way to have a stretch and grab a bite to eat. On arrival, check in and settle into the accommodation. Dinner will be a great time to get to know your fellow ladies and lords.

Day 2

The medieval faire kicks off today! All loyal subjects will gather for what is going to be an amazing day of action, fun, glorious food and activities from yonder years. Cheer for the knights as they engage in the jousting tournaments and watch the Vikings battle it out. There will be so many things to see and do. It’s sure going to be a fun day at the faire!

Day 3

Our second day at the medieval faire is bound to be just as good if not better than the first! The main parade and final jousting happens today. Knights will gather and the dames will be dressed in their best. Make sure you pack your medieval outfit in your luggage! The vibe, music and buzz of the faire will have you feeling like you have been transported back to a time where castles were a plenty and feasts were fit for royalty.

Day 4

After breakfast and a relaxed morning, we will check out of our accommodation and begin the journey home. Along our journey, sticking with the medieval theme, we will take a small detour for a little peak at Innisfallen Castle. A real life, privately owed castle in where else but, Castle Cove! Next, we will make our way to Parramatta Park. The park is full of history! The best part is The George Street Gatehouse. It looks just like a castle and makes a royal backdrop for some holiday snaps! Georgie Boy café is located at the Gatehouse, the perfect spot for us to have our final lunch together before heading home to our family and friends.

All participants can treasure their holiday memories forever with the purchase of a hard cover keepsake photo book or USB thumb drive. Order here!
