Just metres from Byron’s Main Beach and a few minutes’ walk to world class restaurants, cafes & shopping, you’ll enjoy the stunning sunsets and local entertainment right at your doorstep.
August is a great time of year to travel to the North Coast, not just for the warmer weather but it’s also whale watching season! Encounter the astonishing humpback whales in their natural habitat as they migrate past the iconic coastline between Byron Bay and Ballina and play in the stunning waters of Cape Byron Marine Park. Dolphins and sea turtles are a common sight in the Marine Park too! Join the team at Byron Bay Whale Watching to catch a glimpse of the amazing giants. Take some time to relax during an eco rainforest river cruise with passionate local guides who will ensure you have a fantastic Australian experience. Enjoy award-winning commentary as you cruise through part of Cape Byron Marine Park and look out for native wildlife.
Byron Bay is also well known for its beautiful beaches and bushland. We’ll take the reins of this opportunity and experience a bushland and beach adventure on horseback! Zephyr Horses have been looking after our groups for a number of years. The staff at the ranch are fantastic and very experienced horse handlers. Their horses are very friendly, gentle and are experienced with the area. The zephyr horses team is dedicated to delivering soul charging moments that last a lifetime. The afternoon trail ride through the bush and across the beach is truly an incredible experience.
We will head up to Cape Byron lighthouse and to check out the Maritime Museum in the former lighthouse keeper’s office. The views from the top are stunning and it’s the perfect spot for some holiday happy snaps. We’ll take a little road trip to Summerland House Farm for a fun and educational farm experience like no other in the region! The Tractor Tour gives visitors the chance to explore the macadamia and avocado orchards and learn about local history and agricultural practices. A trip to Summerland House Farm isn’t complete without sampling the fabulous local produce in their onsite restaurant. The food is delicious!!!
