Trusted Travel acknowleges the Dharug and Gundungurra People of the Ngurra Nation as the continuing custodians of the lands we will be visiting.

The Blue Mountains are a popular destination and full of history, action and adventure. Trusted Travel have put together a beautiful week to enjoy and experience this wonderful place just outside of Sydney.

We will start the adventure with a visit to Scenic World. Scenic World has a variety of ways to experience the world heritage listed mountain ranges and the Three Sisters. With the world’s steepest railway we will need to hang on!! There is also a cableway as well as a scenic walkway if you would like to keep your feet on the ground while taking in the views!

Our week in the Blue Mountains will find us exploring Jenolan Caves. Jenolan Caves has a large network of caves to explore, with tour guides who can explain the science behind the amazing formations and also discuss their mystery as well. Jenolan Caves is a must see.

One of our other adventures will find us searching for glow worms! The Blue Mountains have perfect conditions for glow worms to live and we have some great places to see them in their natural habitat.

A new adventure on our itinerary is to stop off at Megalong Valley – one of the oldest villages in the Blue Mountains. This quaint but thriving town has the most beautiful and tasty tea and scones as well as stunning views to enjoy. This is going to be a lovely week enjoying and exploring!

It's always a fun night the first dinner together!

Day 2

We will have breakfast together and get ready for our day at Scenic World. With the steepest rail track in the world, hang on to your hats as we head down to base station. From here we can have a walk in the rainforest. There are some beautiful views from down here. We will head back up on the railway and then have a ride on the cable way taking in the Three Sisters on the way across. After a great morning adventuring, we will have some lunch in one of the great cafes in Katoomba and have a wander through some of the shops. We will spend the afternoon exploring the Botanic Gardens and head back to our accommodation for a chilled evening dinner together.

Day 3

Today we will be having an early breakfast and jumping on the bus and driving to Jenolan Caves. Located in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, these caves form part of the world's most spectacular cave networks with limestone and calcite formations, sometimes pure white. The cave network follows the course of a subterranean section of the Jenolan River. It has more than 40 kilometres of multi-level passages and over 300 entrances. We will be exploring the Orient Cave, the largest and most accessible of the caves. Our guide will inform us of the history and working s of the cave – it will be a great informative morning! We will have lunch together and then enjoy the drive back through some of the small towns along the way, stopping to enjoy some of the spectacular sights. We will have an early dinner and maybe venture out to see what the Blue Mountains has to offer us at night!
