Whether you’re an experienced skier, sit-skier or snow boarder, or if you’ve never even seen the snow! Our supported snow holiday is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.
Once again we have teamed up with the fabulous Disabled Wintersport Association who have been making experiences at the snow inclusive for all for years. The DWA team offer experienced instructors and their team spirit is truly inspiring. These guys and gals know how to have fun on the slopes!
Staying at Finsko’s Lodge at Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre in accessible apartments, DWA programs are run in a safe, friendly and relaxed environment. All programs are designed to suit participants’ needs and goals and weather conditions at the time. The program may be modified as needs and conditions change. As part of the program, DWA will facilitate three days of skiing or snowboarding fun!
This is sure to be an action packed holiday, full of amazing experiences and adventures!
Our snow holiday package includes transport from Wollongong (we can assist with travel arrangements to Wollongong if required), 4 night accommodation at Finko’s Lodge in Jindabyne, ski/board rental (incl. helmets), lessons/DWA staff instruction on snow, 3 day lift passes, all main meals, 1:4 staffing support and all staff expenses.
All you need to do is pack your bag and winter woollies and come along! Each participant will be provided photos from their holiday to share with family and friends. Each participant will also receive the option for a hard cover photo book, full of their fun holiday memories.

Meeting at our departure location we will introduce and welcome participants to our group. We will travel as group to Jindabyne with a lunch stop and few leg stretch breaks along the way. On arrival we will check into our accommodation at Finko’s, unpack our bags and settle into our rooms. Later we’ll get ready for dinner and head to the super trendy Jindabyne Hotel for a winter heady dinner.
Snow day!!! After breakfast we’ll grab our gear, stock up the mini bus and head to the slopes of Thredbo! We’ll shred away the day under the ever so diligent watch of the wonderful DWA instructors. We’ll have lunch at the alpine centre before we squeeze in some more snow fun in the afternoon. In the evening, after a nice warm shower, we’ll get ready to go out for dinner.
Snow day!!! After breakfast we’ll grab our gear, stock up the mini bus and head to the slopes of Thredbo! We’ll test out our new skills with the help of the DWA instructors. We’ll have lunch at the alpine centre before we squeeze in some more snow fun in the afternoon. In the evening, after a nice warm shower, we’ll get ready to go out for dinner.
Last snow day!!! After breakfast we’ll grab our gear, fill up the mini bus and head to the slopes for our final day of snow shredding. We’ll spend the morning polishing up our new skills. We’ll have our last lunch at the alpine centre before we squeeze in some more snow fun in the afternoon. In the evening, after a nice warm shower, we’ll get ready to go out for our last dinner together.
All good things must come to an end! On our last day in Jindabyne, we’ll pack up our things, bid farewell to the DWA team and hit the road to home. We’ll stop off at the Big Merino for some lunch and a photo op on the way. In the afternoon we’ll arrive back in Wollongong to meet up with our family and friends.
