From the snow capped wonders of Mt Fuji to the home of Anime Electric City Akihabara, this holiday package is packed full of Japan’s best highlights. You will visit historic shrines, mind blowing temples and palace gardens.
Spend a day touring the city to some of the top Tokyo temples gardens and shopping areas. You will visit Meiji Jingu shrine, see the Imperial Palace East Garden and stop at Senso-Ji temple. Capp off the day with some shopping at Ginza and the colourful Nakamise Street.
Marvel at the wonders of nature as you visit Japan’s iconic Mt Fuji. Stop at the famous Fifth Station of Mount Fuji, which stands at 7,546 feet and provides stunning views of the Fuji Five Lakes and the Hakone National Park. Next up is Oshino Hakkai, the set of eight lakes that can be found in the idyllic village of Oshino.
Tokyo’s electric city Akihabara is a buzzing haven for Anime, Pokémon and Manga fans. Stop into visit Anime maids at the maid’s café and pop in to see some of the cute little creatures at the hedgehog café. Electric city is full of colour and Japanese funky fashion.
Ride right into Japan’s enigmatic culture and traditions on a one day tour to Nikko and learn the mysterious ways of the ninja. The tour is a well-balanced combination of a guided experience and exploring. Walk down the streets of Edo Wonderland, taking you back to 17th century Japan and learn about the enigmatic culture of ninjas and samurai.
Visit Shibuya, home of Japan’s famous “scramble crossing” and Harajuka where Japanese fashion is paraded and grab a bargain at the 105yen store. We will visit the Shinjuku Samurai Museum full of amazing armour and costume displays as well as Samurai performances and sword demonstrations.

Meeting at Sydney International Airport, we will introduce everyone in the group, ready to begin our journey. Once we have dropped off our luggage and checked into our flight, it’ll be time to jet set to Japan! On arrival in Haneda (Tokyo), we’ll collect our luggage and make our way to our accommodation. We will check into our rooms, take a look around then rest and recharge after our busy travelling day.
Tokyo city discovery day. We will visit Meiji Shrine, Asakusa Temple & Ginza Shopping District. See some of the top Tokyo temples, gardens and shopping areas during this half-day bus tour, perfect for first-time visitors and those short on time. During your Tokyo exploration you’ll marvel at the city’s Meiji Jingu Shrine, see the Imperial Palace East Garden and stop at Asakusa Kannon Temple (known as Senso-ji). Finish your excursion at the busy Ginza shopping district and the colourful Nakamise Street, another commercial hotspot.
Today you will explore Tokyo’s Electric City – Akihabara. Home of everything Anime! Stroll the bright streets, check out the amazing venues specializing in manga, anime, and video games including Tokyo Anime Centre, for exhibits and souvenirs, and Radio Kaikan with 10 floors of toys, trading cards, and collectibles. Staff dressed as maids or butlers serve tea and desserts at nearby maid cafes.
On this day we will join the Nikko & Ninja Village Day Tour. After a convenient hotel pick up, an English speaking guide will accompany you to Nikko Toshogu Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the final resting place of Tokigawa Leyasu, the founder of the Japanese military government that ruled the country for over 250 years. After exploring the shrine, you will head off on your own with plenty of attractions left to see. Take your time at Nikko Edomura, a cultural theme park that recreated life in a Japanese town of the Edo Period, dating back 400 years. Discover the lifestyle of 17th century Japan, try exotic delicacies, chat with the friendly locals and more.
Rest day – after a few very busy days, today we slow down the pace a bit to recharge our batteries and energy. In the afternoon we will visit the Tokyo Metropolitan Building which has a popular observation deck that rises over tranquil urban parklands. After dinner we will hit one the many karaoke bars Shinjuku city is well known for and dance the night away.
On this day we discover Mt Fuji and all its wonders. Our Mt. Fuji day tour begins with a departure from Tokyo, heading out to Mt. Fuji's Fifth Station. From this famous point on the iconic mountain, you can admire the dazzling mountain scenery as well as a panoramic view of Tokyo in the distance. Then, go sightseeing and enjoy some lunch around Lake Kawaguchi, hemmed in by forests and mountain scenes. This is followed by a trip to Oshino Hakkai, otherwise known as the eight springs around Mt. Fuji. These smaller lakes are picturesque, surrounded by nature and traditional homes and springs.
Today being our final day in Tokyo, we will take the opportunity to do some shopping and purchase some souvenirs. We will check out of our accommodation, leaving our luggage with reception while we visit the Shinjuku Samurai Museum. Check out the amazing armour and costumes. Have your photo taken in a traditional Samurai helmet and be awed by professional actors in a Samurai sword performance. After our time at the museum, we will collect our luggage and make our way to the airport for our journey home.
After our evening flight, we will arrive back in Sydney where we will be greeted by our family and friends and farewell the new friends we have made.

It was a beautiful day to sail away on our adventure on the sea! We met at the cruise terminal, checked our bags in, said good-bye to our family and friends and embarked upon our journey.
