Spruce up your cowboy boots and round up your posse for the 2019 Groundwater Country Music Festival!
Set next to the pristine beachfront of Queensland’s Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, the festival will see a perfect mix of board shorts and banjos, surf boards and steel guitars as country music’s finest assemble for three days and nights of incredible entertainment.
Country music legend Lee Kernaghan has been announced as one of the headline acts and more than 40 other artists will take to a number of outdoor stages throughout the festival. As well as other entertainment, markets and more.
Groundwater 2019 is sure to full of star-studded talent and toe tapping fun.
This holiday package includes 4 night twin share accommodation in Broadbeach, return flights from Sydney to Gold Coast, airport transfers from Wollongong (we can assist with travel out of area too), all main meals, all activities as per itinerary, all transport at the Gold Coast, staffing support and expenses (at required level)
All you need to do is pack you bag, bring your dancing shoes and come along! Each participant will also receive the option for a hard cover photo book, full of their fun holiday memories.

Meeting at our Wollongong location, we will introduce and welcome participants to our group. Then we will travel by bus to Sydney domestic airport. On arrival at the airport, we’ll drop in our luggage, check into our flight and get set to fly to the sunny Gold Coast! On arrival at the Gold Coast, once we have collected our luggage, we’ll pick up our hire car for the holiday and head to our accommodation in Broadbeach. In the evening we’ll enjoy dinner out together and a walk along the promenade. Afterwards some free time before bed.
Today is the official 1st day of the festival. After enjoying some breakfast we’ll head out to see all the buzz the festival brings to the area. We will enjoy the days line up of entertainment. After some lunch out along the Broadbeach strip, we’ll head back to our accommodation for a swim (for those who want to) and some relaxing time before the evening begins. After dinner we can dance the night away at the festival.
Day 2 of the country music festival. After enjoying some breakfast we’ll head out to see what the festival has install for our enjoyment today. We will check out the day’s line up of entertainment. After some lunch out along the Broadbeach strip, we’ll head back to our accommodation for a swim (for those who want to) and some relaxing time before the evening begins. After dinner we can dance the night away at the festival, again!
Last day of the festival today. Know what that means? Lee Kernaghan!!! After enjoying some breakfast we’ll head out to see what the festival has install for the final day. We will check out the day’s line up of entertainment. After some lunch out alongside the water, we’ll head back to our accommodation for a swim (for those who want to) and some relaxing time before the evening begins. After dinner we’ll be getting ready and excited to rock out with Lee Kernaghan!!!
All good things must come to an end. Today we say goodbye to the Gold Coast and beautiful Broadbeach. After our last breakfast together, we’ll gather our things, check out of our accommodation and make our way back to the airport. Homeward bound!
On arrival back in Sydney we’ll collect our luggage and jump onto our awaiting transport back to Wollongong to see our waiting family and friends.
