02 March - 06 March 2020
There is no other zoo quite like Australia Zoo and this is your chance to get up close and personal with the animals that Steve Irwin loved to look after. You will meet crocodiles, koalas, kangaroos and dingoes to name a few. Australia Zoo is one of the biggest and best wildlife conservation facilities in the world and you can learn about the work that is happening to save and conserve animals all over the world.
To continue on the animal theme, we have planned a visit to the Sea Life Aquarium in Mooloolaba so you can visit the sea animals - seals, an underwater tunnel and plenty of sea life splashing about. It will be a great experience.
Also included is a trip to the Queensland Air Museum where you can step into the world of aviation and history of flight in Australia. It has Queensland’s largest collection of aviation history.
As well as plenty of time to visit the local beaches, shops and all that Mooloolaba has to offer.
This package includes staffing support (at required level), return flights and transfers, accommodation, entry to attractions, transport to all activities, additional activities & all main meals.

We will meet at Sydney Domestic Airport and from here we will fly to the Sunshine Coast! Arriving at Mooloolaba Airport, we will collect our hire van and drive to our hotel where we will check into our rooms. After a short meet and greet amongst all of the travellers, we will have free time to use the hotel’s facilities including the pool, gym, and games area. If the weather is good we may also visit the beach. We will have dinner as a group and then enjoy some free time afterwards - we have a busy few days ahead!
We will wake up and have an early breakfast before getting in the van and heading to Australia Zoo for the whole day. Here you will experience the home of the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin and some amazing animals. You can watch the wildlife warriors wrestle a croc, pat a koala and you can even pat a snake! The zoo has so much to do we will be spending the whole day experiencing all it has to offer.
As the day comes to a close we will head back to the hotel to unwind and have dinner as a group.
We will be having breakfast together, then head down the road to the Sea Life Sunshine Coast Aquarium to spend the day with the sea animals! We will take a walk along the underwater tunnel, touch a sea star and hang out with the seals for a laugh.
We can take some time to look around town and browse the shops after lunch, grab an ice cream and hang at the beach if you want some sun.
Before dinner, we will have some time to enjoy the facilities of the resort, have a dip in the pool or relax. After a full day we will have dinner together.
Today we are taking our time with breakfast and then in the van and off to the Queensland Air Museum. This houses Queensland’s largest collection of planes – you can take a walk through some of the planes that were used in Australia and in the war - a great step back in history.
We will have lunch together and a relaxing afternoon wandering the shops or hanging by the pool.
After a full day we will have our last dinner as a group, we can reminisce about all the fun we have had away on our trip. After dinner, we will have some free time before bed. We will pack our bags and get ready to head home tomorrow.
After breakfast together we will pack up our rooms and say goodbye to the beautiful Mooloolaba and head to the Sunshine Coast airport to fly back to Sydney where will meet up with our families and friends.
